There's a big shiny white box in my front yard, under the shady maple tree and pointed so that it's easily accessible from the garage or the front door. I'm excited, 'cause this means I can finally start getting stuff Out Of The House!

I know! It's silly, isn't it? But the move seems so much more _real_ now that there's somewhere (even just a temporary somewhere) to start putting the stuff!
Ah, well, you see, there's the real source of the excitement. Not the box, but what's in it (in this case, space to move your stuff, which means advancing the plot, so to speak). The box itself is doubtless quite boring.
Unlike some years, when there's more excitement in having brightly-wrapped boxes to open than in seeing the things ones relatives think you will enjoy...tho most of my family does pretty well in picking things that suit the giftee.
It'll be interesting to hear how it goes, using one of those. I seriously considered Pods at one point but they didn't work out of both cities involved.
I need to get motivated to get more packing done too!!!!
