Closed on the sale of the current house this morning. The "problem" neighbors (who had us all worried, 'cause everybody has to close before any of us get paid) have both closed already, so everything is rocking along on schedule!

Yippee!!!

Celebrated by stopping at Da Blue Lagoon for tasty Jamaican meat patties. Yum. Spicy meat and flaky pastry. Life is good...

Still set for July 7. We had one item that cropped up in the inspection (cracked floor joists) that we're getting estimates on today, but we expect to agree that we'll pay the contractor and the new owners will supervise the work so that it won't delay the closing.

Boo for unexpected surprises but yay for still being on track to close on the 7th!

Hopefully the joists won't be too expensive to fix.
