A little over a week ago, I woke up in the middle of the night with a sore throat, a cough, and a head that felt like somebody had filled it with Quikcrete.

Unlike my normal wait-and-see attitude towards cold/allergy/bronchitisy things, I actually went to the doctor and let them give me antibiotics in the hopes that we could head this off before it settled into my chest and turned into bronchitis.

No such luck. Eight days and counting of antibiotics and various cold meds and I'm still getting worse instead of better. This bodes _so_ well for our Conclave concert. Sounds like time to dig out the thermos and mix a batch of Magic Throat Elixer to get me through the weekend!

I've been sick for two years running at OVFF... the only good thing about being sick _now_ is that hopefully I'll be over it and well in time for OVFF this year!

Sounds like time to call your doc and say "hey, I'm not getting better, I'm getting worse!"

And I hope you feel much better Real Soon.

sorry to hear your so congested. a couple of suggestions.

try using clarion/clariton. how ever it is spelled, if your stuffyness is due to algerys just one over the counter box can make a huge difference

find something with camfor in it. i have a product called sunrider that has an excellent camfor oil and balm. Many people use it ( sniffing it ) it opens up the sinuses very well. drug stores may direct you, and tiger balm MAY have camfor in it, i have not checked.

next for sinus health, do a nasel rince, or nodie wash. health food stores have nodi pots and packs of sinus rinse salts. ask how to do it from directions or some one who knows, if done right it feels great.

have a good time at conclave and see you at windy.
