cadhla opened pre-orders for her studio CD "Stars Fall Home" as the new year ticked into life on the west coast. So... anybody who's known me more than, oh, five minutes know that I have critters. Many of you have seen Kaos's story here over the last couple of weeks (the whole saga is on my sister's blog). Oof... I'm tired. Well, the good news is that the current deal for the neighborhood seems to be moving along quite nicely and we might actually sell and get out of here this time. There's a diesel VW Beetle in Memphis that looks like the perfect car to end my search for a fuel-efficient daily driver, and I had a friend lined up to drive me to Memphis tomorrow to help me look at it and potentially bring it home. For those of you in the US, what are you doing with your 4th of July holiday today? Wild Mercy has had a busy day and a half at NASFIC, and we're having a blast! The Indians lost 3-1, but I didn't really care... it was an absolutely gorgeous night to be at the ballpark. I can so see some of these things actually happening... ...now I'm getting spam in German. Wild Mercy got offered a gig playing at the grand reopening of the Indianapolis Central Library, which seems like it's been under construction forever and which is re-opening this month to much fanfare.
